History
Margaret started her career in investing after working at a start-up company. After working in operations for a while, she began to wonder how all the bills were being paid, as revenues surely weren’t covering costs. Eventually, she asked enough questions to be introduced to venture capitalists in the Midwest area, and started to learn the industry.
She made the leap from start-up operations to venture capital in 2013, and by 2016 she was nominated as a finalist for Investor of the Year at the Indiana Mira Awards (she never stopped asking good questions). By then, Margaret wanted to expand her investing palate. She joined a family office and began working on majority ownership acquisitions using leveraged buyout models.
Margaret currently lives in the Midwest with her husband, daughter, and cat. She is passionate about helping investors use data to make informed and timely decisions. Margaret also focuses on helping female entrepreneurs and investors achieve their goals by offering individualized coaching sessions.
